Volunteers Needed

We are an all volunteer Organization, and it takes many hands to keep it running smoothly. We have put a list below of areas that need your assistance. You may choose to just assist in any area or you may want to be on the board of directors. However deeply you choose to get involved, it is up to you.

  • Registrar Secretary ~ Have You been interested in putting together pedigrees, doiong research? We are looking for someone who is interested in learning registration rules and put certificastes together. Get your feet wet and in time take over the registration position.

  • Office Manager ~ A person that answers emails and phone calls. This needs to be someone who knows the workings of a registry very well. Deposit and pay the bills for the Association. We have hired an outside booking company that enters all of it into a Quickbooks program. All deposits have to be photocopied and a note next to them who it is from and what it is for (i.e. registration fee, membership fee etc.) As well as keep a copy for oneself.

  • A person to mail out Association information requests. This person must have an email address. All forms, envelopes and postage will be supplied by the AAHIASM.

  • Someone to take over the inline Newsletter. We currently have noone producing our biannual E-Newsletter. If this interests you please contact us.

  • Advertising Manager ~ A person(s) that will contact potential advertisers for the E-newsletter.

  • E-Newsletter layout ~ A person that has experience with the computer, and will layout our bianual online newsletter.

  • Treasurer ~ A person that is willing to do our financial books and pay pay the bills. Must have a good knowledge of Quickbooks. Must be a full Member and participate in the Annual Phone Conferance Board of Directors meeting.

  • Show Manager ~ We would like a person(s) that has the Ingenuity to set up and run a Show Program for the Association.

  • Area Representatives ~ This requires that you are a Full Member, and Participate in the Annual Phone Conferance Board of Directors Meetings.
